The Detroit-Pontiac Stage Employees Union
IATSE Local 38
is a theatrical stagehand trade union with a jurisdiction including the Metropolitan Detroit and Pontiac areas of Michigan.

In addition to theatrical stagehands, our members also include motion picture technicians who service the production community statewide.

We have more than one hundred years of theatrical excellence combined with nearly constant involvement in motion pictures since the movies were invented. These are two traditions we proudly uphold at Local 38.
