June, 2004 - The Detroit Pistons win another NBA Championship!
Local 38 members staffed major broadcast events, as well as coverage of the celebration parade and related festivities.

Note: Unfortunately, the Pistons home stadium, The Palace of Auburn Hills, maintains a strict anti-union policy. Local 38 urges all persons to boycott this venue.
But meanwhile, in downtown Detroit, over a million people turned out to celebrate with the Pistons. Although the morning setups were a bit rainy, the weather held out for the parade....
